Woodside Bible Church - Troy Campus

Went to nativity 12/9/23 and it was great. Perfect performance from all participants. After the production the crowds were crazy, the lines for hot cocoa and donuts were very long. Therefore, I took my 2 and 3 year old to play by the sledding hill where I was ridiculed by a worker for the kids playing on the hay bales because they could potentially get hurt. I told the man that if they were hurt I could handle the injury. There were no signs indicating that this area was off limits to patrons. He did not stop his pursuit, insisting we leave the area. After some time, we left, where there were 6 open fire pits which are equally as dangerous and unsupervised.

Very nice church - I’ve grown up in Christian / Baptist churches so this isn’t a new experience by any means but this congregation is really kind and welcoming: no matter if you’re Christian or maybe have no beliefs, this campus will welcome you with open arms. They are always hosting some sort of event to bring In those that aren’t familiar with or who don’t have a home church. The series they’re in right now is called “the six socially acceptable sins”- it’s a really great series that puts on display things that people are doing almost just fitting in with a society that does the same but the actuality is that regardless how minute the thing may seem, God Still calls it a sin- just one of the great series’ they do If ever in the area, the Sunday 830am service is really nice

Many years have passed since I have entered the doors of any church. We found this one on Google search for Easter of this year, thought to try a few local places then decide where I felt most welcome, I found after Easter services I felt completely comfortable here with pastor Chris and all his followers. I have yet only returned a few times between then and now because we have been traveling most of this year fue to family illnesses and such. Planning on attending tomorrow in celebration of Jesus's birthday and know that I will be welcomed with open arms and lots of smiles. You can not go wrong deciding to bring God back Into your life no matter where you attend, but if your searching for a place to start.. please do not let the size of woodside deter or intimidate you... put I will remind everyone when leaving after your services that depending on the time of service you attend, traffic coming in and going out can be a tad overwhelming. Just remember God has been patiently putting up with us for ever, and to be curious to fellow members. 🙏
